more prayer partners – the more prayer there is the greater the impact. James Fraser writes: “I am feeling more and more that it is, after all, just the prayers of God’s people that call down blessing upon the work, whether they are directly engaged in it or not. Paul may plant and Apollos water, but it is God who gives the increase; and this increase can be brought down from heaven by believing prayer...”
breakthrough: for the land/place to be released - we feel the tide is beginning to turn, the plant is pushing through the soil, the Vision is on its way...”Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. greater vision and alignment – that we see where God is headed (the planting of the spear) what He is about, and recognise the timing of things; for God’s timing to come together for all aspects of the Vision;
God's provision for the Vision and a clear way forward; materially, and spiritually; for the ‘channels of grace’ to be revealed, for doors to be opened, for the 'men of peace', the facilitators to come forward, for connections to be made etc.
everyone involved so far, the core team and existing prayer partners; for more faith, persistence, perseverance, hope, encouragement, ability to hear and see God clearly, obedience, protection, provision, good health;
unity, for everyone, the core team especially, to gel together, being of the same heart and mind; (there may be more people to come).
communication - guidance in the creation of the updates, the website etc; what to include/leave out; that we hear God clearly;
wisdom in our decision making & dealings with one another; learning our lessons;
our new rhythms of working, praying and seeking God; for discipline and grace; for direction in what to focus on and prioritise while we wait; for the right balance of being and doing;
increased faith, peace and protection for us as vision-carriers; we are facing some opposition, this is a spiritual battle. (Oswald's Vision becoming reality)?
our continued preparation, that we stay in His hand, not try to do our own things, or batter ourselves into shape, but allow Him to sculpt us as He sees fit; that we don’t lose heart on the journey (passionate, not passive); that we will be ready when the time comes;
protection for our families – often when people begin a work, the enemy seeks to distract them by going after their families.
